Tyler, John – (Born March 29, 1790; Died natural causes January 18, 1862, Virginia) Tenth President of the United States of America, (April 4, 1841 – March 4, 1845) elected as Vice President to William Henry Harrison under the banner Tippecanoe and Tyler too, he was the first Vice President to succeed to the Presidency and established the precedent that the Vice President becomes President on the death of the prior President for the balance of the term and not merely an acting interim president, with somehow different or limited powers, expelled from the Whig Party during his term over his alleged overuse of the Presidential veto power.
