Ross Perot splitting the vote of conservative voters (much like Woodrow Wilson’s election when third party candidate Theodore Roosevelt’s Bull Moose Party split the conservative vote) a strong government activist in promoting the economy and reducing the deficits through government action and intervention (NAFTA and GATT) as opposed to the previous administrations laissez faire policies.
