Roosevelt, Theodore – (Born October 27, 1858; Died natural causes January 6, 1919, New York) Twenty-Sixth President of the United States of America, (September 14, 1901 – March 4, 1909) famed for his service as Colonel of the Rough Riders and his charge up San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War, his aggressive attack on what he saw as the tyranny of the monied class, the Trust Buster, and his receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in mediating the end of the Russo-Japanese War, perhaps our most colorful President.
