Taft, William Howard – (Born September 15, 1857; Died natural causes March 8, 1930, Ohio) Twenty-Seventh President of the United States of America, (March 4, 1909 – March 4, 1913) the only man to have lead the two branches of government (having a single individual as a leader – the legislative branch has shared leadership between the Speaker of The House and the Vice President at the Senate) serving as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court following his term in office as President, his re-election as President effectively thwarted by his mentor Theodore Roosevelt’s Bull Moose Party’s push for Roosevelt’s third term as President.
